Forget white water rafting or abseiling! For Europeans, this is the latest kind of "adventure" tourism: Bargain shopping in America. More and more Europeans are taking advantage of the historically low Dollar, and are spending their Euros in American malls.

Meet Daniel and Steffi. They hail from Munich and are visiting the US as what has become known as "shopping tourists". Shopping tourists have a unique mindset: the goal is to spend money to save money. Daniel and Steffi want to spend enough money so that they save just the right amount to finance their entire trip to the U.S. For their spree, they pick the shopping mecca of... Austin, Texas. Austin is home to one of the world's biggest and most exclusive outlet malls, with stores ranging from Prada and Gucci to Zegna.

For the weekly documentary program, "Abenteuer Leben", we accpmpany Daniel and Steffi, reality style, as they try to hit as many of the 120 stores as possible and spend as little money as possible for maximum bargain benefit. What are the top insider tricks when shopping at an outlet mall? What are some of the rookie mistakes? And what happens to this young happy couple after 15 hours of non-stop shopping and haggling?
