Ever since he followed his wife to Texas 5 years ago, Dennis Wehrmann had a dream: German beer for Americans.

Not the bottled stuff you can buy in almost every corner store these days. But real, fresh, local, German beer, brewed according to strict German purity laws, with just four ingredients.

And so a few months ago, Dennis, a brewmaster by trade, started his own business. In the heart of Texas of all places, he started brewing and selling German lager-style and wheat beers.

Jynx accompanied Dennis for a few days to tape a segment for the renowned German food show "Wissenshunger". We filmed as he tried to balance making the perfect beer and finding enough new clients to make his dream a reality.

He has already converted some prominent bar owners in the Dallas area, but can he convince Bud Light-sipping Americans that strong, rich German beer is the way to go?
