11 autonomous cars, sent out into an urban driving environment. Without drivers, without joysticks, without remote control, these cars think and drive by themselves.

We follow “Junior”, a VW Passat built by a bunch of whiz kids at Stanford University, from conception through the test and qualifying phase through to the big day, the Urban Challenge.
