Annabelle Bond
feature1

Jynx first feature for the hit German television show "Galileo" involved a grueling shoot on Aspen Mountain and hours of research, sifting through 30 hours of amateur archival footage. The result is a fascinating portrait of Annabelle Bond, the 36-year old adventurer and daughter of British millionaire Sir John Bond. In sharp contrast to many of her friends in high society Aspen, Annabelle has chosen the punishing life of an extreme mountain climber. In 2005, she became the first woman to climb the "Seven Summits", the collection of highest mountains on each continent, all within 12 months. To achieve this feat, Annabelle had to overcome her fear of heights on the treacherous cliffs of Mount Everest. Her fellow climbers had to carry an exhausted Annabelle the last few feet to reach the summit of Aconcagua in Chile. And, tragically, she had to bare witness to the death of two friends on Denali in Alaska.
